Limited Warranty. All products sold are warranted by FireWire Depot for one month (30 days) after the date shipped to the purchaser (buyer), unless otherwise stated in the product listing in this catalog. Any part which is determined by FWDepot as defective in material or workmanship and returned with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), as per an authorized FWDepot representative, shipping costs prepaid, will be replaced or refunded (in whole or in part) at FWDepot's exclusive option. FWDepot retains the sole determination of any replacement or refund value. Warranty Disclaimer. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA Number. Terms and Conditions 1. Returns for credit will only be accepted within 15 days of the customer receiving the product. Returns for exchange will only be accepted within 15 days of the customer receiving the product, unless otherwise noted in the product description. 2. For products marked Warranty by manufacturer, please contact the manufacturer for all defective issues beyond 15 days of receiving the product. We will not accept defective product replacements if an RMA Number is not issued within 15 days of customer receiving the product. All products needing warranty service past our 15 day cutoff will be serviced by their respective manufacturer. FireWire Depot will do it best to assist customers in receiving warranty support after 15 days. 3. Product returns or replacements will not be accepted without an RMA Number. Once an RMA Number is obtained, customer is responsible for shipping the product back. Please ship using a carrier that provides a tracking number and proof of delivery. We recommend Airborne Express, UPS or Fedex. FireWire Depot will not be responsible for items lost by the carrier. Valid proof of delivery must include the receipt signature of an authorized FireWire Depot employee. 4. Restocking charges may apply for non-defective product returns. Any product returned for full credit which is not found to be defective may be assessed a 10% restocking fee. FireWire Depot will not assess a restocking fee for defective products, or for returns for exchange or replacement. A qualified FireWire Depot technician will test each returned product for defect. 5. Restocking charges will be applied to incomplete returns. Returned products must include all accessories, parts, documents, etc. Please make sure that all manuals, cables, screws, and other accessories are included in the original packaging. Products returned incomplete with be assessed a 10% restocking fee. 6. Products damaged through negligence or due to poor return packaging will void the warranty and will be returned without replacement at the customer's expense. 7. Returned products must be received within 7 days from the issuance of the RMA Number. 8. Shipping charges are non-refundable. 9. FireWire Depot will always honor the original ship method of the order when sending out exchange or replacement items. 10. On returns to our facility, no credit will be allowed for items shipped to us in error. 11. All claims for shortage, damage or shipment errors must be made within 7 days after receipt of shipment. Our liability shall be limited to the invoice value of the materials or its replacement. 12. If any malfunction of products should occur while used in its recommended environment, FireWire Depot, at our option, will repair or replace the product at no charge, provided the product or any part thereof has not been abused, misused, neglected, replaced, repaired or modified. FireWire Depot shall make the final determination as to the existence and cause of any defect. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL ACCESSMICRO BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY TO ANY PURCHASER FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST REVENUE, LOST WAGES, OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT. FireWire Depot reserves the right to make modifications in both hardware and software without prior notification. Prompt Disposition. FWDepot will make a good faith effort for prompt correction or other adjustment with respect to any device or product which proves to be defective within the above warranty period. Before returning any product write or call FWDepot, giving date and number of original invoice, describe the nature of defect, and request a Return Authorization Number (RMA). Title and ownership risk or loss belong exclusively to the purchaser (buyer) on shipment by common carrier to FWDepot. FWDepot does not have and does not imply responsibility for shipments made to FWDepot. If the device or product is damaged in transit, the shipper (purchaser or buyer) must file claim with the common carrier. FireWire Depot can not refund any shipping costs, ever. FWDepot retains sole authority of and on the value, refund or replacement allowances. Product Suitability. Many States and localities have codes and regulations governing sales, construction, installation, and/or use of products for certain purposes, which may vary from those in neighboring areas. While FWDepot attempts to assure that its devices and products comply with such codes, it can not guarantee compliance, and cannot be responsible for how the product is installed or used. Before purchase and use of a product, please review the product application, and any national, regional and local codes and regulations, and be sure that the device, product, installation, and/or use will comply with them. FWDepot will allow products to be returned and reserves the right to adjust refunded amounts to account for restocking costs or fees if the product is not returned in the same condition it was shipped,, depending on the circumstances provided to an authorized FWDepot representative and condition and merchantability of the returned device or product, associated packaging material, accessories and/or software. |
